ABOUT ME
Hey there, my name is Tyler Benson, and I am a language addict, nerd, father, behavioral health worker, lover of literature, and writer.
My love affair with languages began in 2013 when my then fiance and I were planning our wedding trip to Ireland. We planned on spending a few days in Paris, and I did not want to be "That American Guy who Doesn't Speak any French". I began learning French to avoid embarrassment and found that I loved the language!
I have no formal training in Languages or Linguistics, but language learning is a passion that only grows as time goes on. Currently I am continuing my studies in French along with learning Norwegian, Irish Gaelic, and Old English. That last sentence is something I never thought I would say, but I love that I am able to.
